Ken Turner is Roving Pianist, a New York-area writer and pianist who blogs about everything piano.

Ken loves to go to piano recitals, and has posted reviews on Roving Pianist of many of those he has attended. This activity has resumed after a lengthy hold due to COVID-19.
The reviews are written from a lay perspective. They attempt to capture the personal experience of being present, rather than just critique the performance.
Ken loves to meet musicians, from top-tier professionals to students and amateur pianists like himself. He is particularly supportive of up-and-coming performers, using his blog to give them exposure.
